I’ve just found it is very easy to install the open source software based web browser, Mozilla Firefox on HP-UX; easier than installing in Solaris. Below is information on my system,
Machine: HP b2600 (PA-RISC)
Operating System: HP-UX 11i v1 (11.11)
The Modus Operand

- Download GTK+ 2.6.8 and install,
[root:/tmp]# swinstall -s /tmp/gtk_26800_pa.depot
- Download Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4 and install,
[root:/tmp]# swinstall -s /tmp/ffox_2004_pa.depot
- Verify Firefox installation,
[root:/tmp]# swlist | grep -i firefox FIREFOX 2.0.0.4ar.00 Firefox for HP-UX
Viewing the description,

- Yeah, it’s execution time!
[root:/tmp]# /opt/firefox/bin/firefox

UsingUishhh, mana ko tau orang HP guna Reflection X :D By the way, aku buat screenshot tu guna xwd; kemudian, dengan gigihnya aku convert raw output dia kepada format jpeg dengan menggunakan GIMP kat Linux machine.
hehe… opis aku nie HP shop. Most HP engineer yang dtg semua pakai tools tu. Aku sorang jer yang terhege-hege pakai cygwin to forward X.
