Open Source University Meetup (OSUM)

Open Source University Network

I just received an email from Sun Microsystems promoting Open Source University Meetup (OSUM). Well, I think this is a good initiative by Sun and I strongly advise all university students to take this opportunity to create a good networking with other free & open source peers.

OSUM (pronounced “awesome”) is a global community of students that are passionate about Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and how it is Changing (Y)Our World. We call it a “Meetup” to encourage collaboration between student groups to create an even stronger open source community.

    Khairul Azrin,
-Waalaikumussalam. Saya sememangnya dah lama ber-blog tentang Linux & Open Source, sila rujuk entry lama.
-OSUM ni adalah social networking website, ala-ala Facebook/Friendster tapi ia fokus untuk Free & Open Source Software utk student university. Anyway, sesiapa pun boleh join, takde apa-apa masalah. Saya pun bukan student, tapi register je.
